Change of Tenancy (CoT)
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to leave prior to your lease term, or perhaps you need to add a roommate to share the costs. You are still responsible for payment of your full rent through the end of the lease term, but through the Change of Tenancy program, you can transfer or amend the lease responsibilities.

It is very important to make sure all parties understand their rights and responsibilities under the lease agreement. This includes all of the people currently on the lease, as well as anyone who will be added to the lease. Remember, the lease is a legally-binding document: failure to adhere to it can be costly in terms of money and time. There are a few easy steps to facilitate the transfer of lease responsibilities from one person to another or add an additional responsible party. Everyone involved will need to complete the necessary forms and pay the required fees. Tenants may be removed, added, or replaced on an existing lease via our Change of Tenancy process.
