What’s next?

Now that you have moved-in, here is what you should do next

1. Familiarize yourself with the Rules and Regulations Document

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Louise Beck Properties, Inc. “Rules and Regulations” section of your lease. This document contains a wealth of information on, for example, paying rent, submitting a maintenance request, or turning on utilities. You can always find a copy of your lease in your tenant portal.

2. Schedule utilities in your name today

Electricity, water, gas (if applicable) won’t be on when you move in unless you schedule them to be on! Please refer to the Rules and Regulations section of your lease for which utility companies service your new home. Use our local resources for contact info.

3. Submit your move-in inspection form

When you pick up keys to your new home, you will receive a New Tenant Folder in which you will find, among other things, a Move-In Inspection form and how to submit a maintenance request via your tenant portal. In order for us to provide you with the best possible service (including responding to maintenance problems), it’s essential that you complete the Move-In Inspection form and return it to us within 10 days of the day you pick-up keys. The Move-In Inspection is your opportunity to indicate any existing issues with the property prior to your occupancy.

Note that the Move-In Inspection form is NOT a Maintenance Request. If you find something that needs to be repaired, you must submit a Maintenance Request online through the Tenant Portal, or in writing. If you have misplaced your Move-In Inspection form, you may download it from the link below.
